Sometimes I get into this space where I doubt myself as an artist and start thinking about how other people create art and how they must be doing it in a much more artistic way than I am. For instance, I'm not sure I've ever attached meaning to a piece of music before I've written it, which is something I imagine Real Artists do. They come up with an idea and compose around that. I've only ever found meaning when the product is finished or in the midst of it happening. Meaning is in the waves of sound crashing into my body and tickling my stereocilium. The visceral reaction to the space I'm in that being transformed by the volume and density of "The Art." Which is all to say, whatever meaning you attach to this is fine, and if you find something there that sets a scene, then you're doing great. After a few hours of listening to these tracks, I have ideas of the story they're trying to tell, but I'm not sure the story matters.
